When
The Williams Route 66 Quarter Marathon will be held Saturday August 7, 2010 Please see the Event Schedule for information on start times.

Where
The Williams Route 66 Quarter Marathon starts and finishes in Tulsa's Blue Dome District. The start is in front of Dilly Deli at 2nd and Elgin and the finish is in front of McNellie's at 1st and Elgin.

All entry fees include an Official Route 66 Quarter Marathon shirt.
All participants who finish the Quarter Marathon will receive a Finisher's Medal.

"The Double" Quarter Marathon and 5K
Participants who run "The Double" will receive one shirt, a Quarter Marathon Finisher's Medal and a special award for completing both races. Participants are eligible for awards in both the Quarter Marathon and the 5K.  The Quarter Marathon starts at 7:30 a.m. Early starts are not allowed and anyone starting early will be disqualified. Participants in "The Double" will be noted when they finish the Quarter Marathon and they can proceed to the start of the 5K. The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. Early starts are not allowed and anyone starting early will be disqualified. Participants in "The Double" must finish The Quarter Marathon and start the 5K by 8:45 a.m. Participants in "The Double" should be able to maintain at least an 11:15 per mile pace in the Quarter Marathon.

Online Registration
Participants are encouraged to register online before August 6, 2010.

Register In-Person
Participants can register in person at packet pickup or on race day. Credit cards are only accepted for online registration.

Packet Pick-Up
Participants can register in person and pick up their race packets on Friday August 6, 2010 at The American Red Cross from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Race Day Registration
Procrastinators can register on race day. Race Day Registration opens at 6:30 a.m. and closes 15 minutes before the start of each race. Cash and Checks accepted with valid ID accepted for registration on race day. Credit cards are only accepted for online registration.

Course
The Williams Route 66 Quarter Marathon starts at 2nd and Elgin and finishes at 1st and Elgin. The course follows the North section of The Route 66 Marathon full marathon course.

Awards
Fleet Feet Timing Tulsa provides the Williams Route 66 Quarter Marathon with electronic timing to ensure that everyone receives an accurate time. Per USATF Rule 245.1, Open Men's and Women's and Master Men's and Women's top three awards will be based on gun time (the order in which the athletes cross the finish line). Age group awards will be based on timing system time (the actual time elapsed between an athlete reaching the starting line and finish line).

Awards will be presented to the first three finishers in the quarter marathon and 5K in the following categories. An athlete may win multiple awards in the overall, masters and in the athlete's age group.
